Honoring His Legacy

In Loving Memory of Bradon Coy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our founder and dear friend, Bradon Coy, on the morning  of Sunday, December 14th, 2025. He was surrounded by family and passed peacefully, without pain.

Bradon loved insects for as long as he could remember, and that passion shaped both his life and his work. Through Lil’ Dude’s Insect Academy, he shared his curiosity, knowledge, and joy with countless people, leaving a lasting impact that will continue through the mission he built.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 1:00 PM at Cascade Community Church in Monroe, Washington . The service will be live-streamed, and a link will be made available for those who wish to attend virtually.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bradon’s honor to Lil’ Dude’s Insect Academy , allowing the board to continue his life’s work.

Bradon’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the curiosity he inspired, and the work he loved so deeply.
